William "Blayne" Moore
July 22, 1958 - February 16, 2025
Morgan City, LA
William Blayne Moore, age 66, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025. Blayne was born on July 22, 1958 to William James "Jim" Moore and Shirley Kathryn Luscombe Moore. He attended Canton Public School graduating from high school in 1976, and then later attended college at Southwestern State University, earning a Bachelor's Degree. Blayne was a welder his whole life. After college he moved to Morgan City, Louisanna. He welded and helped with the construction of oil derricks that drilled in the gulf. After moving to Louisanna, he always came back to Oklahoma for harvest every June to help his uncle, Roger Pjesky, and to visit with his family.
Blayne is survived by his mother, Shirley Moore of Enid; sister, Toni Goforth of Canton; his beloved nieces and nephew - Brandi Lumbert and husband, Randell of Marlow; Stephanie Caldwell of Delaware, Ohio, Daniel Goforth and wife, Shayla of Galena, Ohio; great nieces and nephews, Caleb Garrison, Kathryn Garrison, Reagan Caldwell, William Caldwell, Blayne Goforth and Miles Goforth.
Blayne is preceded in death by his father, Jim Moore and his sister, Dana Beth Moore.
A private service will be held, and he will be laid to rest in Good Hope Cemetery, Helena, Oklahoma.
