ENID, Okla. — Graveside service for Ernest “Jack” Wilson, 77, Carthage, Texas, is 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at Freedom Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Ware officiating. Family visitation 6-8 p.m. today at Wharton Funeral Chapel.

He was born April 15, 1935, to Horace and Carrie French Wilson in Freedom and died Jan. 22, 2013.

He served in the Army for 20 years. Owned a service station prior to retiring.
Preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving are his wife, Pat, of 47 years; daughter, Donna Wilson Alexander, of Abilene, Texas; sons, John Brian Wilson, Allen, Texas, Calvin Gene Wilson and James William Wilson, both of Carthage; sisters, Donna Faye Smith, Mooreland, and Linda Rae Elwood, Woodward; and 12 grandchildren.
