October 8, 1950 - June 6, 2020
Ricky Dean Parker, son of Patsy B. (Armantrout) and Daniel Dean Parker, was born on October 8, 1950, around the Woodward area. He passed away in Enid, Oklahoma, on June 6, 2020, at the age of 69 years, 7 months and 29 days.
He attended Woodward schools and graduated with the class of 1969.
Mr. Parker was married to Sherri Yeager in 1972. To this union two daughters were born, April Dawn and Misty Shawn.
In latter part of the '70s he moved back to Freedom, Oklahoma, and met Rhonda Kornele to which a son, Jason Kornele, was born.
Ricky was a free spirit and had a Gypsy soul. He was a shrimp fisherman. He loved wood carving and was a heavy equipment operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Rick is survived by his two daughters, April and husband Rayln Borth, and Misty Redden, both of Woodward, Oklahoma; and a son, Jason and wife Wilene of Freedom; a sister, Janey Rubel of Freedom; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A private service will be held at Freedom Cemetery.
