Dick E. Kornele, 83, Freedom
Funeral services will be Aug. 24 at 10 a.m. in the Freedom Christian Church with Mark Kinkel, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Freedom Cemetery under the direction of Wharton Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Kornele was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Edward (Abbie) and Joe.
Dick is survived by his wife Ila Mae; three sons and their wives, Jim of Elk City, Roger and Rita of Woodward and C.R. and Janice of Mooreland ; three grandsons, Brian, STeve and Jared; three great-grandchildren Brexton, Blake and Rylei; a sister, Ruth E. Wood of Alva; three brothers and their wives Bill and Genevieve of Clayton, N.M., Robert and Louella of Dodge City, Kan., and James (Tanny) of Woodward; two sisters-in-law, Cindy Kornele of Alva and Betty and Marvin PErrin of Fargo; two brothers-in-law, Ed and Alice Welty of Coldwater, Kan., and Sam and Naomi Welty of Shattuck, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
