Freedom Cemetery



Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Freedom Christian Church for Clarence Leland Hickey who died Wednesday as a result of an automobile accident near Freedom. Rev. Ray Vaughan conducted the services. Interment was made in Freedom Cemetery with Stiles-Howerton Funeral Home of Alva in charge. He was born on October 28, 1918 near Old Freedom to Frank Talmage and Lillian Marion (Roller) Hickey. His mother preceded him in death on January 13, 1928. He was united in marriage to Vera Jean McNutt on June 12, 1940. He is survived by his wife; his father; his sisters, Opal Marie Irvan, Huldah Cora Hickey, and Frankie Marion Hickey; and his brothers, Melvin Lewis Hickey, Lester Eugene Hickey, and Cecil Willard Hickey.
