Jimmie Max Beagley was born March 4, 1939, to Jerry and Grace (Davidson) Beagley in Lookout, Oklahoma. He passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017, in El Reno, Oklahoma, at the age of 77. Jim attended the Lookout Community Grade School before attending and graduating from Freedom High School in 1957. He married Sherry Vincent on July 12, 1960, in Alva. Jim worked at the Freedom Farmer's Coop, Woods County District 2, and worked in maintenance at the school where he also drove a bus. Jim was recognized as Plant Manager of the Year in the 1980s for the State of Oklahoma by Governor David Walters. Jim retired in 1997. Throughout his career Jim farmed and ranched on his family's home place in Freedom. He served on the Freedom Volunteer Fire Department for many years. Jim and Sherry loved camping and RVing as well as jeeping mountain trails. He was a 32nd degree Mason. Jim was baptized in the Freedom Christian Church in 1959 and served as an elder there in later years. Since moving to Lookeba he attended Faith Church in Hinton. Jim's favorite hobby was his great-grandchildren.

Survivors include wife Sherry Beagley of the home in Lookeba; daughters Criss Flock and husband Mark of Lubbock, Texas, and Cari Farrow and Dean of Lookeba; grandchildren Laryn Strickland and Preston of Tuttle, Landry Flock of Lubbock, Brianna Lumpkin and Mark of Hinton, Marlee Newton and Todd of Hinton, and Daylin Farrow and Crystal of Hinton; great-granchildren Jack, Jett and Lilah K. Strickland, Ryker, Willow and Grace Lumpkin, Beau and Ava Newton, Ledgend Smith, Shai and Dation Farrow, Shayden, Scotty, Navaeh and Season and one more due in February; sister Dixie Clemence and husband Merle of Waynoka; and brother William (Bill) Beagley of Springfield Missouri.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents Jerry and Grace Beagley; son Clay Vincent Beagley; sisters Laura Bliss, Nola Storer and Vera Schultz; and brothers Alfred, Lloyd and Carl Beagley Jim's family requests that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Faith Church, PO Box 423, Hinton, OK 73047 or to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at www2.jdrf.org/goto/JimBeagley or JDRF, 26 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10004.

Funeral services were held at the Freedom High School Auditorium in Freedom, Oklahoma, on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Josh Cossey officiating. Burial followed in the Freedom Cemetery under the direction of Turner Funeral Home, Hinton, Oklahoma.
