Deceased: Gerald Lee Morland, 79, Alva
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn; one son, Gerald Lee Morland, Jr.; one daughter, Nancy Porter; one brother, Richard Morland; and one brother-in-law, Joe Wells.
Gerald is survived by two daughters, Leanna Fife and her husband, Harold, of Syracuse, Utah, and Kathy Magee and her companion, Mike Blake, of Alva; three brothers, Kenneth Morland and his wife, Ethyl, of Strafford, Mo., Max Morland of Hardtner, Kan., and Floyd Morland and his wife, Cindy, of Kingman, Ariz.; and one sister, Coeta Wells of Owasso.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Felicia Tharp of Bossier City, Candace Magee of Bossier City, Ryan Magee of Bossier City, Shaunna Ricks of Kaysville, Utah, Chad Ricks and his wife, Sheri, of West Point, Utah, Alan Porter and his wife, Dawnelle, of Hooper, Utah, and Matt Porter of Hooper, Utah; six great grandchildren, Austin and Madison Morland of Kaysville, Utah, Garrett, McKenna, and Bridger Ricks of West Point, Utah, and Kobi Crayton of Bossier City, La.; other relatives and friends.
There will be a visitation at the funeral home from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 13. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Sept. 14 at Fairvalley Cemetery near Freedom. Interment is under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Share Hospice. Remembrances may be shared with the family at www.marshallfuneralhomes.com.
