ENID — The graveside service for Berneice Lawson, 94, of Enid, formerly of Kiowa, Kan., will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010, in Capron Cemetery, east of Capron. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Kiowa. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
She was born Feb. 18, 1916, in Freedom to George and Ina Moreland Bryson and died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010, in Enid.
She lived and worked in Enid for a short time.
She married Gustave “Tave” Korff Sept., 2, 1949. They lived and farmed in Kiowa. He died in 1978. She married Frosty Lawson Jan. 30, 1990. They were married for 13 years at his death in 2003.
She was a member of Kiowa Congregational Unted Church of Christ.
Surviving are one stepson, David Lawson; one stepdaughter, Harlene Shively of Wichita, Kan.; one sister, Ina Jean Fromme of Enid; stepchildren; and stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Tave, second husband, Frosty, two brothers and two sisters.
