Deceased: Ruby Grace Ewing, 91, Alva
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; one brother, Brunell; and five sisters, Elsie, Tempie, Marie, Onnie, and Virginia.
Ruby is survived by two daughters, Joela Taylor and her husband, Harry, of Topeka, Kansas, and Lola Heaton and her husband, Charles, of Alva; six grandchildren Richard Taylor and his wife, Tamara, Karis Schrag, Jana Gifford and her husband, John, and Rusty Taylor and his wife, Rhonda, all of Topeka, Kansas, and Tami Cooper and her husband, Jay, of Alva, Oklahoma, and Tony Heaton and his wife, Deanna, of Jemez Springs, New Mexico; fourteen great grandchildren, Matthew, Jeffrey, and Thadd Taylor, Kenzi, Karli, Kyle, and Kory Schrag, Jennie and Shane Gifford, Dustin Burgess, Jeremy and Lexie Cooper, and Kalee and Joshua Heaton; one sister, Arizona Rose of Stillwater; one brother, Jim Link and his wife, Delores, of Mooreland; other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. March 9 at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Weegie Williams officiating. Interment will be in the Avard Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Beadles Nursing Home.
