Funeral Services for Ruby V. Stone, 82, will be held at the Wharton Funeral Chapel on Saturday, May 1, 2004, at 11 a.m. with Reverend John Clapp, Pastor Alva Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Alva Municipal Cemetery, Alva, Oklahoma. Wharton Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Ruby Viola, daughter of Lena (Baergen) and Omar Tucker was born on December 7, 1921 near Avard, Oklahoma. She passed away at the Alva Beadles Nursing Home on April 26, 2004.

Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Alice Moore.

Ruby is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Thelma and Vernon Mitchell of Blackwell, and Gladys and Bob Trammell of Greenville, Texas a son and his wife Clarence (Buck) and Jan of Topeka, Kansas.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren and their spouses, Sharron McNamara, Shirley and Steve Zimmerman, Larry Trammell, Jerry Trammell, Tami and Eddie Arnold, Chet Stone and Shana Stone; seven great grandchildren, Corley, Stephanie and Angela Zimmerman, Mitch McNamara, Joshua Trammell, Jacob and Emily Buck, a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions maybe made to the Alva Bible Baptist Church or the Activities Fund at Beadles Nursing Home.
