Death Calls Farry Girl

Funeral Services are Held Today

Sylvia Salma Reed, 19 years old, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elf Reed of Farry, passed away Monday night at the Alva hospital after a brief illness.

Funeral services were to be held at 4 o'clock this afternoon at the File wits mortuary, Rev. J. T. Wheeler, pastor of the First Christian church, officiating. Burial will be made in the A. O. U. W. Cemetery.

She had been employed here at the Callison Grocery.

Sylvia Salma Reed was born near Faulkner, November 2, 1909. She was educated in the rural school and later attended Northwestern State Teachers College at Alva. She was taken seriously ill last Monday and died at the Alva hospital about 5:30 Monday afternoon. She leaves to mourn her passing, a mother and father, four sisters and seven brothers. She had a kind loving disposition and was loved by the host of friends who knew her.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. T. Wheeler, pastor of the First Christian church Tuesday afternoon. Interment was made in the A. O. U. W. Cemetery at Alva.
