Funeral for Patsy Lou O’Hair will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at Alva First Baptist Church. Pastor Mike Taylor will officiate. Interment will be in Alva Municipal Cemetery under direction of Marshall Funeral Home, Alva.
Patsy Lou O’Hair, daughter of Frank and Bernice (Davis) Seeger, was born Oct. 14, 1932, in Rosston, Okla., and passed away May 29, 2015, in Alva, Okla., at age 82 years, 7 months, and 15 days.
Patsy graduated from Rosston Public Schools and attended Saint Anthony School of Nursing.
On August 22, 1953, she was united in marriage to Troy O’Hair. To this union, one daughter, Terri, was born.
They lived in Alva, where she worked at Old Surety Life Insurance for several years.
In 1968, she went to work for Alva Pubic Schools in the superintendent’s office, where she worked until her retirement in 1990.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Seeger; niece, Kim Ogle; and nephew, Ken Seeger.
Patsy is survived by her husband, Troy O’Hair of Alva; daughter, Terri Ritterhouse of Edmond, Okla.; granddaughter, Dr. Lauren Ritterhouse of Boston; sister, Peggy and husband, Lee Mackey, of Alva; two nephews, Logan Ogle and Jim Seeger-Newby; and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, for cancer research.

Troy Norval O'Hair, the son of Pat and Alice (Hoch) O'Hair, was born on February 15, 1932, in Speermoore, Oklahoma. He passed away at the age of 88, in the Touchmark Senior Living Center, Edmond, Oklahoma, on November 6, 2020.
He graduated from Laverne High School in 1949. On August 22, 1953, he and Patsy Seeger were united in marriage. To this union, their only child, Terri Dale, was born on February 14, 1955.
Troy attended NWOSU, lettering all four years in football, basketball and baseball. He was a member of Kappa Delta Pi, graduating with a degree in mathematics in 1954. He later received his Masters in Administration from Oklahoma State University.
He was drafted in 1955 into the Army and served honorably for two years.
Troy worked for Old Surety Life Insurance of Alva for 14 years. He then spent 20 years in the Alva School System at the junior high, teaching math, coaching various sports, and serving as the principal.
After retirement he enjoyed, and excelled, at hunting, fishing, golfing, and bowling. Troy was known by all for his beautiful, well maintained, lawn and landscaping.
He leaves to mourn his passing his daughter Terri Ritterhouse of Edmond; his granddaughter Lauren Lee Casariego and husband David and their children Oliver and Evelyn of Boston; several nephews, cousins, and many longtime friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 62 years, Patsy; his brother Claude O'Hair, and sister Betty Breon. Also sisters-in-law Mary O'Hair and Peggy Mackey, and brother-in-law Norval Breon.
A memorial service will be held at a later date due to the current COVID-19 situation.
