Funeral Services for Jessie B. Meyer, 85, will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church on Saturday, January 15, 2005, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Mark Bersche, Pastor, officiating. Interment is in the Alva Municipal Cemetery . Wharton Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may by made online at www.whartonfuneralchapel.com
Mrs. Meyer was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Villa Darling.
Jessie is survived by her daughter and her husband, Sharon and Larry Sebranek of Marshall; two sons, John Meyer and Sande Farley, and Kenny and Sherrill Meyer, all of Alva; six grandchildren and their spouses, Ron and Raelyn Meyer of Haysville, Kan., Lynda and Dan Crocker of Laverne, Amy and Brooks Crawford of Mooreland , Cris and Brooke Meyer of Alva, Becky and Chris King of Perry, and Rique Meyer of Wichita, Kan; 10 great grandchildren, Calin and Jessica Meyer, Kaylee and Kale Crocker, Keiton, Kaleigh, and Kole Crawford, Logan and Morgan King, and Jackson Meyer; her brother and his wife J. L. (Bud) and Lovina Clark, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alva Zion Lutheran Church.
