Funeral services for Brenda Kay Lieswald will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at the Alva Church of God with Pastor Bob Brown officiating. Interment will be in the Alva Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva .
Brenda Kay Lieswald, daughter of Gail Warner and Jenny Roberta (Gainey) Lieswald, was born May 3, 1966, in Alva , Oklahoma, and passed away June 8, 2016, in Kiowa, Kansas, at the age of 50 years 1 month and 5 days.
Brenda graduated from Alva High School. She started work at Share Convalescent Home as a CNA, then became a transcriptionist at Share Medical Center and became director of medical records.
She enjoyed putting difficult puzzles together and loved sunflowers and angels.
She is survived by her daughter, Jenny Lieswald and fiancé Travis Foutch (of Hardtner, Kansas); her mother, Jenny Silcott and husband Donnie (of Kiowa); her father, Gail Lieswald (of Shawnee); her siblings, Charlotte Johnson and husband Terry (of Orlando, Florida), Teresa Roach-Rogge (of Kiowa), Troy Roach and wife Kiili (of Pueblo, Colorado), Travis Jacobson and wife Misty (of Alva ), Nathan Lieswald and wife Tena (of Woodward), Stephanie Hull and husband Kenny (of Shawnee), Billy Lieswald and wife Bo (of Alva ), and Donna Grogan (of Woodward); other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
