Deceased: Florene G. Lancaster, 84, Avard
She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and four brothers.
Florene is survived by her two sons and their wives, Bill and Trudy of Cherokee, Max and Peggy of Avard; five grandchildren and their spouses, Joe and Kathy and their sons Drew and Rod of Ponca City, Jill Lancaster of Norman, Jan and David Green and their children Abby and Landin of Sapulpa, Stephen and Marla Lancaster and their sons, Luke and John of Norman, Darrin and Kadie Lancaster and their children, Matthew and Bethany of Cherokee; a sister-in-law, Justine and a brother-in-law, Bill both of Alva, a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Oct. 22 at 1 p.m. at the Avard Christian Church with Rev. Larry Cornforth, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the Alva Municipal Cemetery. Wharton Funeral Chapel of Alva is in charge of arrangements.
Contributions may be made in her memory to the Avard Christian Church or the Arthritis Foundation.
