Enid, OK — Funeral for Gerald Dean Inman, 73, of Alva, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2008, at Alva First Baptist Church. The Rev. Greg Hook will officiate. Burial will be in Alva Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are by Marshall Funeral Home, Alva.

He was born Sept. 28, 1934, in Alva to Thomas Jefferson and Beulah A. Brown Inman and died Monday, June 16, 2008, near Dacoma.

He attended Togo School and graduated from Cheyenne Valley High School. He served in the Army.

He married Rosemary King May 22, 1960, in Waynoka. He worked as a truck driver and owned his own trucking company. He was a member of Cheyenne Valley United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Rosemary, of Alva; one son, Preston Inman of Waynoka; two daughters, Lezlie Jackson of Edmond and Beth Alvarado of Yukon; three brothers, R.J. Inman of Fairview and Delfred Inman and Lilburn Inman, both of Waynoka; five sisters, Ines Bouse of Enid, Virginia Harmon of Miller, Mo., Susie Sutherland and Darlene Lyon, both of Woodward, and Ardena Bartlow of Ottawa, Kan.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Children of the King Orphanage.

Funeral services for Rosemary Inman will be 11 a.m. Thursday, August, 30, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Alva. Interment will follow in the Alva Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.

Rosemary Inman, daughter of the late Ivan Elvin and Lillie Mae (Freeman) King, was born December 22, 1941, near Waynoka, Oklahoma, and left this life Sunday, August 26, 2012, with her family by her side at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, at the age of 70 years, 8 months, and 4 days.

Rosemary attended Waynoka School. On May 22, 1960, she was united in marriage to Gerald Dean Inman at Waynoka, Oklahoma.

Rosemary and Gerald Dean lived in Alva from 1966 until her passing. Rosemary worked at the Alva State Bank for the last 20+ years after graduating from NWOSU. Rosemary attended the First Baptist Church in Alva.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Dean and one brother, Elvin King.

Rosemary is survived by one son, Preston Inman and Joanna Johnson of Alva; two daughters, Lezlie Jackson and husband, Steve, of Yukon, and Beth Alvarado and husband, Freddy, of Yukon; and one brother Charles King.

Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, Garrett Jackson, Erin Fuller, Eden Jackson, Jacob Jackson, Aubrey Inman, Levi Inman, Laci Alvarado, Alex Alvarado, Alyssa Alvarado, Lacy Stramel and Kadie Stramel; six great grandchildren, Madelynn Jackson, Taylor Jackson and Braylon Henry, Trayvin Henry, Jaelon Henry, and McKinzee Altamirano other relatives and many friends.
