Deceased: Marion Margarete Haltom, 75, Alva
Marion Margarete (Marg) Haltom was born March 29, 1932 near Avard, Oklahoma to Marion Maxwell (Mack) Murray & Lillie B. (Sims) Murray and passed away June 9th 2007 at Alva.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Darrell Haltom; her parents; two sisters, Loretta and Opal; and a brother Arnold (Jock).
Mrs. Haltom is survived by a daughter and her husband, Rita & Mike Eck of Omaha, Nebraska, two sons and their wives; Cliff & Jenny Haltom of Oklahoma City, and Mack and Carol Haltom of Tulsa, eight grand children, six great grand children; sisters and brothers-in-law; Shirley and Gerald Haltom of Alva, Fern and Bill Ryel of Kiowa, Kansas, and Flossie Dominick of Kiowa Kansas, a good friend Gene Leslie, a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at 10 a.m. at the Alva Church of God with Reverend Bob Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Alva Cemetery. Wharton Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
