Danette Jean Hague
February 6, 1949 - February 16, 2023
Celebration of Life Service for Danette Hague, will be Friday, February 24, 2023 at 2:00 pm in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Gary Miller officiating. Private family burial was in Alva Cemetery, Alva, Oklahoma. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
Danette Jean, daughter of Eva Jean (Dimmick) and Isaac Daniel Boy (Dan) Venosdel was born February 6, 1949 in Alva, Oklahoma. She passed away on February 16, 2023 at the age of 74 years.
She attended the Alva School System. Miss Venosdel was married to Mark Alan Hague on November 11, 1966 in Alva. To this marriage, three children, Tammy Jean, Brent Alan and Marcelle Renee were born. Following their marriage, they farmed in the Cherokee area. She was a member of the Alva First Christian Church and then the First United Methodist Church of Cherokee. Danette worked in public education as an administrative assistant and director of technology. She was always willing to go the extra mile to help a child, loved supporting her children's activities and enjoyed supporting community events.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Danny Boy Venosdel.
Danette is survived by her husband, Mark; brother and sister-in-law, Dick and Burneta Venosdel; three children and their spouses, Tammy and Todd Schafer, of Berlin, Wisconsin, Brent and Christian Hague of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Marcelle and Curtis Mack of Drummond, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren, Tyler and Kati, Trent, Travis, Megan, and Madisyn Schafer of Wisconsin, Braden and Maddy, Bryant and Victoria, Britt and Brody Hague of Edmond, Oklahoma, Clayton, McCandren, Avery and Garrison, Caitlyn and Connor Mack of Drummond, Oklahoma.
A heartfelt Thank You to Hospice Circle of Love, Enid, and the exceptional caregivers, Michele and Stephanie, that have shown true compassion in caring for Danette.
