Alva Cemetery


Muleshoe, Texas – graveside service for Edith Goucher, who died Friday in Muleshoe, will be at 3 PM Tuesday in Alva Municipal Cemetery with the Reverend Eldon Powers, pastor of the Christian Church, officiating. Wharton Funeral Chapel of Alva is in charge of arrangements.

She was born November 8, 1906, at Cumby, Texas. On June 7, 1936 she married Stillman E. Goucher in Altus. They were both chiropractic physicians. In 1941 they moved to Muleshoe. He died September 1987.

She is survived by two daughters, Golda Lou Stone of Missouri, and Iona Kay Goucher of Silver Springs, South Dakota, and a granddaughter.
