Woodward, Okla. - Funeral services for Seth Andrew Farris will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013, at the Alva Church of God with Pastor Bob Brown officiating. Interment will be in the Alva Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.
Seth Andrew Farris, son of Johnny Frank and Vickie Lee (Caldwell) Farris, was born March 11, 1989, in Enid, Oklahoma, and died as a result of a motor vehicle accident November 13, 2013, at Alva, Oklahoma, at the age of 24 years, 8 months, and 2 days.
Seth graduated from Alva High School. He was an active member of the Boy Scouts of America while in school. He attended Emporia State University studying the fine arts. He graduated from the Oklahoma School of Photography.
He worked for Starr Lumber for a few years until recently when he went to work for his uncle, Mike Caldwell, at Jim?s Auto Salvage in Woodward three weeks ago.
He was a very good photographer, having displayed his work at Murrow Frame Art, Graceful Arts and the Nescatunga Arts Show. He also enjoyed gaming and giving people a hard time.
Seth is survived by his parents, John and Vickie Farris of Alva; his brother, Sean Farris and wife, ShiAnne, of Alva; his grandmother, Coralie Caldwell of Woodward, his aunts and uncles, Bill and JaDeanna Farris of Alva, Ernie and Gen Farris of Alva, Maria Farris of Liberal, Kansas, Kay Loges of Alva, Mike and Charise Caldwell of Woodward, Marie and David Murrell of Duncan, and Chris and Mike James, of Nazareth, Texas; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Point Foundation, an education scholarship fund.
