Linda Gail Seright, Cushing resident, passed away on Friday afternoon, July 21, 2006 at her residence at the age of 54 years. 
   
The daughter of Joyce Allen and the late Travis Seright, Linda was born on February 5, 1952 in Elk City, OK.  She was raised by her mother Joyce and step-father Calvin Allen, in Elk City and Lindsey, graduating from Lindsey High School.  She received her Bachelors Degree in Mathematics from the University of Oklahoma. 
   
She was a member of the Port of World Wildlife; ASPCA, HSUS and the University of Oklahoma Alumni. 
   
She is survived by her partner and caretaker of over 11 years, Debra Tidmore; her mother, Joyce Allen; one brother, Anthony Allen; two half sisters, Charlotte Stewart and Pam Raemhild; one step-brother, Butch Glancy; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. 
   
She was preceded in death by her father and step-father. 
   
Graveside services will be held Monday, July 24, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. in the Hatchett Cemetery in Bessie, Oklahoma.
