Funeral services for Mildred Eileen Daniels, 85, of Cordell, were held Thursday, September 12, 2002 at the First United Methodist Church in Cordell with Pastor Jon Wilson officiating. Burial followed in the Strickland Cemetery under the direction of Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home in Lone Wolf.


Mildred passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2002 at the Cordell Christian Home.
She was born October 18, 1916 in Cordell to John and Celia (Johnson) Crider.

She graduated from Cordell High School.
She married Paul Daniels in 1938 at Arapaho, Oklahoma. They lived on a farm South of Cordell until his death, when she moved to town. Eileen was a member of the Garden Club in Cordell; she was a member of the First United Church where she was active in the United Methodist Women's Group. She enjoyed gardening and loved flowers. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter, Celia Lenaburg and her husband, Danny of Cordell, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Randy Robinson and his wife, Gregg, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Cindy Froneberger and her husband, Scott, of Cordell, Oklahoma and Gerri Wilkey and her husband, Darren, of Ulysses, Kansas; five great grandsons, Cody, Trevor, Seth, Chase and Dustin; a niece, Narcissa Moore and her husband, Harvey, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a nephew, Rex Bond and his wife, Sylvia, of Shreveport, Louisiana, a sister Edith Bond: and numerous other family members and friends.


She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Celia; her husband, Paul; and two infant sisters.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
