Jimmy Schones was born September 30, 1956 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Leona
Josephine and Leo F. Schones. He passed away February 22, 2017 at Elk City,
Oklahoma at the age of 60 years, 4 months and 22 days.
Jimmy grew up in Elk City and attended St. Joseph Catholic school through the
6th grade. After the school closed, he began attending Elk City schools where he
graduated in 1974. After graduation he found employment with a couple local
clothing manufacturing companies and later at Kelwoods clothing in Clinton. In
the mid 80s he went to work at Wal-Mart as a stocker. Jimmy loved music and
especially the Beatles. He also collected records, albums and guitars and
watching t.v. shows that dealt with antiques.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister, Julie Ann Schones and
one brother, Glendean Schones.
He is survived by his sister, Rose Schones-Morris, Elk City, OK, many nieces,
nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
