Della Margaret (Schneberger) Rogers

Della Rogers was born June 17, 1928 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Otilla and Albert F. Schneberger. She passed away December 3, 2015 at her home at the age of 87 years, 5 months and 16 days.

Della grew up on the family farm west of Burns Flat and attended St. Francis Catholic Schools and also Burns Flat High School. She was married to Clifford Ledbetter in January of 1947 and they made their home in the Canute area where they farmed for themselves and others. After Clifford's death on December 24, 1970, Della continued to live on the farm until she was married to Keith Rogers and they made their home in Elk City and Burns Flat. They owned and operated Rogers Grocery in Elk City and later Rogers Grocery and Western Wear in Burns Flat before their retirement in 1983. She served as president and vice president Womens Aglow and held numerous prayer meetings in her home. Della was a godly woman that had a passion for sharing the word and the Lord with anyone she came in contact with. Besides her faith, she enjoyed going on mission trips, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, son, Glen Dean Ledbetter, oldest brother, A.J. Schneberger, youngest brother, Donald Ray Schneberger. Granddaughter Chrystal Michelle Ledbetter and grandson, Clifford Joe "C.J." Ledbetter.

She is survived by her 3 sons, Leon S. Ledbetter and wife, Beth, Burns Flat, OK, Larry Ledbetter and wife, Kay, Dill City, OK and Garry Ledbetter and wife, Terri, Burns Flat, OK; 12 grandchildren, Tim Ledbetter and wife, Autumn, Weatherford, OK, Kirk Ledbetter, Elk City, OK, Larissa and Toby Mason, Dill City, OK, Priscilla and Randy Simon, Elk City, OK, Lane and Lindi Hall, Shreveport, LA, Chris and Carol Hall, Haworth, OK, Sandi Knight, Burns Flat, OK, Stephen Knight, Oklahoma City, OK, Lance Elmore, Burns Flat, OK, Cody Ledbetter, Dill City, OK, Michael and Tina Kanis, Holland, MI and Julie and Brian Lundeen, Ft. Worth, TX; 19 great grandchildren; 1.6 great great grandchildren; 1 brother, Frederick and Zola Schneberger, Foss, OK; 5 sisters-in-law, Tiny Schneberger, Wynona Kepley, Lola Ledbetter, Doris Pitts and Pearl Rogers; 2 step children, Kathy Rogers Dean and husband, Norman and Mike Rogers and wife, Dale and a host of other relatives and friends.
