Agnes "Miss Nancy" Anne Morse was born February 8, 1930 in Glasgow, Scotland to Joseph McGarrigle and Catherine Docherty. She passed away March 10, 2019 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years, 1 month and 2 days.

Nancy grew up in Scotland where she attended school. At the age of 9 she was evacuated during World War II and split up from her family. After the war she returned where she finished her education. She held various jobs and it was later at a dance hall where she met Thomas Riley Morse. They were later married on October 2, 1954 in Glasgow, Scotland. Together they remained in Prestwick, Scotland until 1956 when they moved to the United States. Nancy remained in the home caring for her 8 children until she began working for Merry-Go-Round day care in Burns Flat, Oklahoma. Not long after being employed, she was asked to take over and own it. Nancy quickly became lovingly known as "Miss Nancy" to numerous children that eventually sent their children for her to care for. She continued to own and operate the day care for 29 years until she sold it in 2001. Although she retired from the day care she continued to work for her son, Terry, at SFI until December of 2018 and cared for her grandchildren. Miss Nancy enjoyed cleaning, cooking, and caring for children. She was a woman of great faith, and spent hours praying each day for all of her children, grandchildren, and many others.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son-in-law, Roger Hargis, great granddaughter, Ali Grace Crawford, 7 brothers and 1 sister.
