Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa Wright, 67 year old Weatherford resident, who passed away early Sunday morning in a Weatherford nursing home, will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Weatherford, with Rev. Leon Sewell, pastor and Rev. Alvis O. Merrill, pastor of the Broadway Height Baptist Church of Clinton, officiating. Services will be concluded in the Plainview Cemetery south of Weatherford.

Mrs. Wright was born near Butler, Oklahoma, on March 18, 1899, attended school at Pie Flat community school, and grew to womanhood in that area. She was married to Mr. Ollie Wright in Hammon, Oklahoma, on August 11, 1923. After their marriage they resided on a farm near Butler, moving to a farm northeast of Weatherford in 1946. Mr. Wright passed away there on June 8, 1954, and she moved to Weatherford. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Sheldon (Marie) Payne of Weatherford, two grandchildren, Norris and Marcella Payne both of Weatherford, two brothers, Emery Vignal of Canadian, Texas and Cecil Vignal of Hammon, Oklahoma.
