Teddy “Ted” Lee Hulett, 59, of Yukon, Oklahoma, passed away
June 7, 2016. Ted graduated from Putnam City West High School where he was a
member of The Sons of Liberty. The Sons started the tradition of the liberty
bell where they carried the bell to each football game and rang it after every
Patriot score. After high-school, he attended Oklahoma State University where
he met and married the mother of his daughters. After moving to Pennsylvania, he
received an Associate’s Degree in Computer Management from ICM School of
Business.
During college he enjoyed square dancing, leadership in dorm activities, and
starting his family. Ted was an avid OSU and Thunder basketball fan, and loved
keeping in touch with friends and family through Facebook. He enjoyed the
Christmas season so much he secretly wanted to go to school to be Santa. Ted’s
major priority in life was to put a smile on your face. Ted was a kind and
giving man who would drop everything to help a friend in need. His greatest
pleasure in life was being a father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed
and continue to live in the hearts of everyone he touched.
He is survived by his daughter, Aubrey Brock, husband CJ, and granddaughter
Paisley of Yukon, Oklahoma; daughter, Olivia Haines and husband Jarred of Yukon,
Oklahoma.
Ted is also survived by his mother, Rilma Hulett of Bethany, Oklahoma; his
brother, Terry Hulett of Bee Cave, Texas and wife Tina; nephew, Rick Chism;
nieces, Tera Latham, Michaela Hulett and Jessica Taylor Hulett; and his brother,
Gregory Hulett of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Ted was preceded in death by his father, Roger Hulett, his grandparents, Harry
and Hazel Betche, grandparents, Floyd and Wilam Friese, and his aunt and uncle,
Charles and Betty Betche.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate
contributions to RSVP of Central Oklahoma.
Services
