Harold C. Alexander was born July 19, 1925 near Sentinel, OK to Reuben Bryan and Vida Florence (Clanahan) Alexander. Harold passed away on July11, 2016 at the age of 90 years old. Harold was married to his beautiful wife, LaRue, on December 28, 1944 in Hobart, Oklahoma.

His parents preceded him in death. His sister, Elsie Darby; her husband, Norton Darby; brother Jerrold Wayne Alexander; niece Debra Harris; nephew, Richard Darby; nephew, Randy Alexander; grandson J.J. Alexander; granddaughter, Heather Stidham have also preceded him in death.

Harold is survived by his wife, Wanda LaRue of the home. Sons: Terry Alexander and wife Loretta of Midwest City, Jack Alexander and wife Kristine of Edmond, and Jeffery Alexander and wife Kristen of Albuquerque: Daughter, Alice Lu Ann Alexander of San Diego. Grandchildren: Amber Nycole Ferguson of Albuquerque, Talya Spagner, Joseph Alexander, and Jalaine Alexander of Midwest City. Great-grandchildren: Zachary Ferguson of Albuquerque, Mackenzie Ferguson of Albuquerque, Taylor Stidham of Oklahoma City, and Mason Stidham of Oklahoma City. A special young friend, Tyler Ramsey,(whom Harold considered family). Nephew: Craig Alexander and wife Sharon. Grand-nephews and Grand-nieces: Gunnar Roberts, Ashleigh Roberts, Chase Alexander and Amber Johnson: and other family and friends too numerous to mention.

Harold worked in the automotive service industries in Cordell and Midwest City. Active in Scouting for approximately 50 years as an adult leader, receiving many awards for service to the organization. All three of his sons achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, of whom he was very proud.

He was active in support of his church, Saint Mathews Methodist Church for almost 60 years and was honored by his fellow members.

In retirement, he enjoyed raising and showing cutting horses, woodworking, woodturning, jewelry making, painting, and drawing.
