Tom Hamilton was born October 3, 1946 in Cushing, Oklahoma to Ruth and Jack
Hamilton. He passed away October 5, 2015 at Canute, Oklahoma at the age of
69 years and 2 days.
Tom grew up in Cushing, graduating from high school there in 1964. He moved
to western Oklahoma where had spent the last 40 years working in the
oilfield before retiring in December of 2014. He was married to Linda O'Hara
at Branson, Missouri on November 11, 2000 and they made their home in
Canute. Tom and Linda enjoyed traveling in their
motor home across the U.S. He loved spending time with grandkids and visiting
with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife, Linda, of the home; 2 children, Stacy Hamilton
and wife, Fanci, Woodward, OK and Kathy Melton, Tulsa, OK; 2 stepsons, Barry
Lamb and wife, Robin, Hammon, OK, Kevin Lamb, Hammon, OK; 5 grandchildren,
Tyler, Shayla, Jessika, Jaylynn, and Keagan, 1 great grandchild, Caanan, his
mother, Ruth Hamilton, Cushing, OK; sister, Charlotte Andrews and husband,
Larry, Edmond, OK; and a host of other relatives and friends.
