Mr. Thomas William (Bill) Smith, age 87, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 20th at 9:40 A.M. with his family by his side. His wife, Doris Mae Smith had preceded him in death on July 19, 2016.

Joint funeral services for Mr. and Mrs. Smith will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, July 26, 2018 in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Steve Griffith officiating.

Interment will be in the White Rose Cemetery directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

Friends who wish may call for visitation for Mr. Smith at the Stumpff Funeral Home from 9 A.M. until 8 P.M. on Tuesday and Wednesday. Bill was born June 18, 1931 to Thomas Walter Smith and Mary Lee (Griggs) Smith in Bartlesville, OK. When Bill was a child he made a couple trips to California so that his parents could pick fruit. After returning to Bartlesville, Bill went to work on the Hudson Dam and he also did a little work on the Hulah Dam. Bill met and married the love of his life, Doris Mae Stephens on February 12, 1952. Bill and Doris raised their four children in the Bartlesville area. He worked for Marrows and Gages Filling Stations until he went to work for Reda Pump for 23 years. In 1971 Bill started his own company, Bill Smith Metal Processing, doing contract work for Reda Pump then Schlumberger. He helped run the company until his death. Bill and Doris enjoyed spending time with their children and grandchildren fishing, boating and 4-wheeling at Sunset Lake and other lakes. They also enjoyed spending time traveling together with friends. Bill and Doris had four children, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Bill was survived by his daughter, Debora Ann Smith, His son, Timothy Joe Smith and wife Karen (Buffham), His grandchildren, Sandra Conway, William Smith and wife Kotone, Timberly Hodges and husband Randall, Kevin Smith and wife Andrea, and Great Grandchildren, Cameron Conway, Parker Conway, Bryant Smith, Kelly Smith, Lisa Smith, Ayden Hodges, Collin Smith and Michael Smith all of Bartlesville.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Mae Smith, his parents, Thomas and Mary Smith, two sons, Thomas William Smith Jr. and Billy Jack Smith, one granddaughter, Veronica Sue Smith, one brother, Jack Fredrick Smith, and one sister, Alta Bond.
