Patty Louise (Postrach) Smith, age 76 of Bartlesville, died at 9:10
AM, on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at her home.
Mrs. Smith was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on April 14, 1941, the
daughter of Carl Postrach and Bertha (Edgerton) Postrach. She grew up in
Bartlesville where she attended St. John Catholic School and graduated
from College High School in 1959. Patty married Kenneth Smith in Caney,
Kansas on September 10, 1960. The couple made their home in Bartlesville
for the rest of their lives. She worked as a bookkeeper for American
Seamless Guttering and S & H Heat and Air. She was a member of Saint
John Catholic Church. She enjoyed genealogy, camping and trips to
Branson. Patty also enjoyed embroidery and crafts. She especially loved
watching her kids and grandchildren play sports.
Patty is survived by her Husband Kenneth L. Smith of the home; sons
Allan Smith and Wife Vicki and Carl Smith, both of Bartlesville; one
daughter Kelly Hainline and her Husband Mark of Ochelata; one sister
Jane Loeffelholz of Bartlesville; one Brother Chris Postrach and wife
Kelly of Bartlesville; three grandchildren Kristi Slaughter and Husband
Jerry of Bartlesville, Debbie Hainline and Corey Burris of Miami and
Mark Allen Hainline and wife Kaylee of Ochelata; great grandchildren Sam
Slaughter, Faith Baldwin, Wyatt Hainline and Joel Hainline.
She was
preceded in death by her parents.
A rosary will be held at Monday, October 2, 2017 at 7:00 pm, at the
Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. John Before the Latin Gate Catholic Church in Bartlesville, Oklahoma with interment to follow at White Rose Cemetery.
