Karleta Mae Sisney, lifelong resident of Bartlesville, passed from this life on Friday, May 24, 2019 at Jane Phillips Medical Center at the age of 73 years.
Karleta was born September 18, 1945 to Clarence and Millie
(Weaver) Hoerning in Bartlesville was she was raised and received her
education. On December 22, 1962, Karleta and William H. Sisney, Jr were
united in marriage. They continued to make there home in Bartlesville,
where Karleta worked as both a cook and housekeeper for various nursing
homes. In her spare time, she enjoyed the outdoors, especially working
in her flower garden. She was of the Assembly of God faith.
Those that survive include her children, Harold Sisney of Noble, OK,
Lisa Sisney of Bartlesville and Teresa Medina also of Bartlesville. Also
surviving are two brothers, Billy Hoerning and wife Carolyn of Dewey;
Lonnie Hoerning of Bartlesville and a sister Nancy Hollandsworth and
husband Victor of Caney, Kansas.
Karleta was preceded in death by her
parents, husband, one sister and one brother.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 1:00 pm in
the White Rose Cemetery.
Visitation will be the morning of the service from 10-11:45 am at the Davis Family Funeral Home, Walker-Brown Chapel in Bartlesville. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home ??? Walker Brown Chapel.
