Jaunita
Shaffer passed away Saturday, October 15,
2016 surrounded by her loving family.
The
family will be receiving friends from 6-8
p.m. Wednesday, October 19th at the funeral
home. Services will be at 2:00 p.m.
Thursday, October 20, 2016 in the
Walker-Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor
Edwina Kidd officiating.
Interment will be in White Rose Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.
Jaunita Virginia Shaffer was born March 9, 1936 in Etta, OK to Cecil and Lucille (Stewart) Eden. She married Homer "Red" Shaffer on June 19, 1959. Jaunita was a member of the Pentecostal Tabernacle Church. She was a member of the VFW at Whipperwill Point and also a member of Camper & Friends. Jaunita had a pleasant personality and loved to joke and cut up with everyone.
Jaunita is survived by two daughters; Brenda Walker and husband Bill of Bartlesville, Dorothy Shadwick and husband Robert of Ochelata. She was blessed with ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is sister, Hazel Smith of Bartlesville, three brothers; James Eden and wife Marie, Glen Eden and wife Sharon, Charles Eden and wife Audrey all of Dewey, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Jaunita was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Homer "Red" Shaffer, son, Danny Shaffer and sister, Oleta Lawhorn.
