Anna Cecilia Resnick, 95, passed away late Monday afternoon, November 16, 2020, at Medicalodges Dewey.
Anna was born December 28, 1924, at Bartlesville, Oklahoma to George Szala and Josephine (Kocoj) Szala. She attended St. John Parochial School, Central Junior High and was a 1942 graduate of Bartlesville College High School. She worked at Phillips Petroleum Company, in the Purchasing Department. Anna married Bonnie J. Resnick on April 30, 1949, at St. John Church. She became a homemaker and raised her daughters, Kathleen and Joanne. Anna enjoyed sewing, quilting, fishing, picking pecans, playing Bingo and attending arts and crafts fairs. She will be remembered for her tremendous love of her family.
Survivors include daughters, Kathleen and Joanne Resnick, both of Bartlesville and several nieces and nephews.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband and by three brothers and three sisters.
A Rosary Service will be held 10 a.m., Friday, November 20, 2020, at St. John Before the Latin Gate Catholic Church, with Funeral Mass immediately following at 10:30 a.m.
Interment will take place in Bartlesville's White Rose Cemetery, under the direction of Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 9am-8pm, Thursday at the funeral home.
Friends are asked to donate to St. John Catholic School, 816 S. Keeler, Bartlesville, OK 74003, in memory of Anna.

The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday in the St. John Catholic Church. Father Festus Maliwa will be the celebrant.
A Rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. on Monday in the Memory Chapel of The Arnold Moore Funeral Residence. Deacon Dan Willis will lead the Rosary.
Committal prayers, dedication of the grave and interment will be directed in the White Rose Cemetery by the Arnold Moore Funeral Service.
Bonnie Resnick will lie in state in the Drawing Rooms of the Arnold Moore Funeral Residence where friends may call for their visitation until he is removed to the church for services and final rites on Tuesday morning.
A memorial has been established with St. John Parochial School.

A native of Caney, Kansas, Bonnie Joseph Resnick was born August 21, 1921, the son of the late Loddie Resnick and Josephine (Gruba) Resnick Following the death of his father in 1926, the Resnick family moved to Bartlesville where he was reared and received his education. Attended St. John Parochial School through the ninth grade; the Central Jr.-Sr. High School and was graduated with the Class of 1939 from Bartlesville High School. Bonnie was employed by National Zinc Company in 1942. During World War II, was enlisted in the United States Army on September 9, 1942 and served in the European Theatre and was awarded a Purple Heart. Mr. Resnick received his honorable discharge November 12, 1945. He returned to Bartlesville and to his employment with the National Zinc Company. He and the former Miss Anna Cecilia Szalla were united in marriage on April 30, 1949 and they established their home here. Mrs. Resnick was a former employee of Phillips Petroleum Company in the purchasing department. Mr. Resnick was retired in 1982 and they have continued their home here living in retirement. "B. J." Resnick was a member of St. John Catholic Church and the James H. Teel American Legion Post 105.
Surviving Mr. Resnick are his wife, Mrs. Anna Cecilia (Szalla) Resnick of the home; their daughters, Ms. Joanne Resnick , Bartlesville and Ms. Kathleen Resnick of the home; a brother, Alex Resnick and his wife, Frances, Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Preceding him in death were his father, mother and a brother, Frank Resnick
