Dorothy V. Postrach, age 99 and Bartlesville resident, passed away on January 13, 2018 in The Journey Home, Bartlesville.

Dorothy Violet Morgan was born on June 29, 1918 in Bartlesville. She was the daughter of Gilbert Morgan and Mettie (Nelson) Morgan. She had lived her entire life in Bartlesville where she also received her education.

On October 20, 1937, Dorothy married Everett Postrach in Nowata, Oklahoma. Four children were born to this union. Dorothy and Everett were married for 56+ years prior to his death in 1993. Dorothy had continued her residence in Bartlesville following his death.
Dorothy was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Bartlesville. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, family and especially grandkids. Every Sunday, she would bake something special, such as pies and cakes for everyone to enjoy when they stopped by and visited. She also enjoyed canning and everyone knew her as a very good housekeeper.

Survivors include her children, Lois Jean Lewis and her husband, Cleo, of Bartlesville, Gloria Sue Loeffelholz of Wann, Oklahoma, and Kathy Hamilton and her husband, Wayne, of Bartlesville; brother, Phillip Morgan; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Everett; son, Michael Postrach; brothers, Arthur and Lester Morgan; sisters, Mae Fisher and Geneieve Freeman; and son-in-law, Charles Loeffelholz.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dorothy's name may be made to The Journey Home, 3406 S.E. Kentucky, Bartlesville, OK.

A Rosary will be said on Thursday, January 18, at 6:00 PM in the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home, 710 S. Dewey Ave.

The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 19, in the St. John Before the Latin Gate Catholic Church. Father John O'Neil will be the celebrant. Dedication of the grave, committal prayers and interment will be directed in the White Rose Cemetery by the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home.
