Cynthia Lynn Griggs-Burrows, 55, of Bartlesville, passed away on Sunday, September 8th. She was blessed with a large and loving family who will miss her greatly.

Cynthia, or Cindy as she was known, was born the daughter of Freddie DeRay and Maxine Joyce (Whitchurch) Griggs on May 12, 1964, in Bartlesville. She was raised in rural Wann, attending Wann schools with the Class of 1983. She was active in various school activities including cheerleading. Cindy married her high school sweetheart Lynn Allen Burrows on Nov. 19, 1982, and they soon began their family with two beautiful children Heather and Randy. Cindy attended Bartlesville Beauty College, earning her cosmetology license first, then her instructor's license. Upon completion Cindy worked as a nail technician. When the kids were young, the family enjoyed camping out at the lake, boating, water skiing and riding the inner tube. She also enjoyed attending the stock car races with her husband. Cindy enjoyed watching NASCAR and OU football on television along with spending time with her kids and grandchildren.

Cindy is survived by two children Heather Kiser and Dusty of Wann, and Randy Burrows of Wann; five grandchildren Braden, Emma, Cayman, Brylee and Coyle; brother Sam Griggs and Gail of Bartlesville; two sisters Cheryl Sharp and Jason of Pryor, and Karen Gallegos and Ricky of Bartlesville along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

After 25 years of marriage Lynn preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 2007, her father Freddie Griggs in Oct. 2011, mother Maxine Griggs in Dec. 2018 and sister Dixie Lynn Griggs in 1961.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at the Davis Family Funeral Home-Walker Brown Chapel.

Interment will follow in the White Rose Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home-Walker Brown Chapel.
