Timothy was born July 5, 1955, to Willard Lee and Melba Lee Atkins of Bartlesville. Tim was born early morning July 5th and his mother always told him he was a delayed firecracker. He was raised in the area, attending local schools and graduated from College High School in 1975. He loved playing basketball with friends. When he moved back to the area, he went to work at the Wal-Mart Bartlesville store for several years, before joining Albertson’s which later became Food Pyramid. He worked in its fresh produce department for many years before retiring as Produce Manager in February 2017.

From a young age, Tim was always a jokester. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, entertaining them with his shenanigans. Oftentimes when pulling pranks on them, he would just grin widely. He also enjoyed collecting Mattel miniature cars. He dated Wendy Neumann (Loriaux) for many years and they were united in marriage May, 27, 2014. He worked with his father- and mother-in-law on the Silver Lake Farm, raising cattle, horses and produce. Tim loved life on the farm. He will be missed by his family, in-laws, and friends.

Timothy is survived by his wife Wendy Neumann-Atkins and three children, Angel Marie Atkins of Claremore, OK, William Lee Atkins of Apollo Beach, FL, and Christopher Andrew Atkins of Bartlesville; three step children, Brandan Van, Christian Neumann and Lillian Neumann and one grandson Tanner Lee Dougherty of Bartlesville; as well as his mother Melba Lee Atkins; and sister Rebecca Lea McClure & husband Sam McClure of Bartlesville; mother-in-law Pam Loriaux and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Willard Lee Atkins, one brother Alvin Leon Atkins and his father-in-law Gerald Loriaux.

Tim’s family will receive friends at the Davis Family Funeral Home, 918-534-3030, 113 S. Osage (Hwy. 75), Dewey, on Thursday, May 3, from 6-7:30 p.m.
