Born January 22, 1955, in Junction City, Kansas, Donna was the daughter of Donald Ray and Patsy Marlene Boatman. She spent most of her career working as an X-ray technician, though over the years she also explored other healthcare roles and picked up various odd jobs.

She loved to travel - whether it was visiting Europe or exploring national parks - and kayaking became one of her favorite activities later in life. Donna was also an avid photographer with a keen eye for capturing beauty in nature. Donna made the most of every adventure she could.

Donna had a generous heart and a welcoming home. She cared for her mother after a stroke left her bedridden and opened her doors to foreign exchange students and family members alike whenever they needed a place to stay.

She is survived by her children, Emily (Tim) Frey, James (Stephanie) Botts, and John (Haley) Botts; her grandchildren, Colton, Forrest, and Bennett; and her siblings, Vicki Boatman Clements and Steven (Dona) Boatman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Patsy Marlene Boatman.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Bartlesville Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF); 399519 US Highway 60, Bartlesville OK 74006
