DAVIS FAMILY FUNERAL HOME
DEWEY, WASHINGTON CO, OK
(permission granted)

Marguerite M. Villarreal, 85, died peacefully January 7, 2017, at Bartlesville Care Center.

Marguerite was born May 30, 1931, in Bartlesville, OK, to Mildred and Arnold Smith. She grew up in Bartlesville and graduated from College High School in 1949. She married Armand R. Villarreal on July 29, 1950. They had two children, Tom and Dianne. Both learned the value of God, love, family and hard work through the example their parents set. Her career with Phillips Petroleum Company spanned 30 plus years.

Marguerite was a faithful woman, a loving wife, devoted mother, the best Nana ever, and a good friend to many. Family was first in her life. She loved to garden and to share its bounty with friends and those in need. In her spare time, she enjoyed a good mystery. A void will be felt by all those who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Armand R. Villarreal; her children Dianne (Byron) Aultmann, Rapid City, SD, and Tom (Carol) Villarreal, Bartlesville, OK; three grandchildren, Lara, Aidan and Jessica; 1 great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews; two sisters, Ruby Goodman and Dorothy Cole; and three brothers, Don Smith, Marion Tow and Paul Tow. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and two grandsons.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Bartlesville Public Library, 600 S. Johnstone Ave., Bartlesville, OK 74003.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 12, at the Highland Park Baptist Church where Marguerite was a member, with Dr. Don Coleman officiating. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home. Online condolences and remembrances may be shared with Margaret’s family at www.DavisFamilyFuneralHome.com.
