Van Edward Upky of Collinsville, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was 65.
 

Visitation for Van will be held Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. 
 

Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 4, 2021 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jack DaMico officiating. 

Interment will follow at Ramona Cemetery in Ramona, OK.

Van was born on January 8, 1955 in Tulsa, OK to Harold and Doris (McAfee) Upky.  He was a 1974 high school graduate of Ramona.  Van had a car accident after graduation, which left him in a wheelchair.  This did not stop him from doing the things he loved.  He enjoyed tinkering with cars and small engines. He loved being outside and even created a contraption to get him on the mower so he could take care of the two acres he lived on.  Van was also a member of the Green Country Corvair Group where he made many friends. He will be missed by many.
 

Van is survived by his siblings, Karen Sander and husband J.D., Priscilla Upky, and David Upky and wife Myong; several nieces and nephews, family and friend. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Bill Upky.
