Ruth Mae (Branson) Pearson, 83, passed away at 6:14 AM on Tuesday, May 12, 2015,
where she was a patient in the Integris Grove Hospital in Grove, Oklahoma.
Funeral services for Mrs. Pearson will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday in the
Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Dick of the Paradise Gate Full Gospel
Church officiating.
Interment will be in the Ramona Cemetery directed by the Stumpff Funeral home & Crematory.
Mrs. Pearson was a native of Oklahoma, she was born at the Memorial Hospital in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on January 9, 1932, and she attended school in Oglesby and Ramona. Ruth and Billy O. Pearson were married on May 5, 1949 in Bartlesville. They have four children; Billie Mae, Melvin Thomas, Deborah Nadine and Sandra Marie. Mr. and Mrs. Pearson lived in Oologah in the 1980’s where Mr. Pearson owned and operated rural trash service and a garage. They later moved to Ramona where Mr. Pearson worked for Washington County and owned a garage. Prior to the 1980’s , they lived in Oklahoma City, Colorado, Idaho and Texas where Mr. Pearson followed a career as an automobile mechanic and laborer. Mrs. Pearson was a member of the Paradise Gate Full Gospel Church at Bartlesville. They retired to the rural Grove area in 2008 to be near Sandra when Ruth’s health began to deteriorate. They recently celebrated their 66th Wedding Anniversary.
Mrs. Pearson is survived by her husband Billy O. Pearson, of the home, Billie M. Bear and her husband Jerry Duis of Skiatook, Melvin T. Pearson and his wife Shannon of Winona, MO., Deborah N. Creek of Ramona, Sandra M. Thomas of Grove: 8 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her
parents Mary and Thomas Branson, her sister Mary Elizabeth Chiseck and brother
Charles Branson.
