David William Hansche, 74, of Vera, OK passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at his home surrounded by loved ones.

David was born on November 3, 1942 in Texarkana, AR to David Woodrow and Sis (Carper) Hansche. David served his country in the United States Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. After his service in the military, David went to work for American Airlines and retired after 31 years as a Quality Assurance Inspector. He was a member of AFL-CIO Local #514. David enjoyed being outdoors, whether he was camping, fishing, or playing golf. He will be missed by many.

David is survived by his wife of 53 years, Bettye (Smith) Hansche of the home; his children, Wade Hansche, Debbie Hansche Blackwood, and Douglas Hansche and wife April; his brother, Ron Hansche; 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.

His parents, and his great granddaughter, Jaydenn Hansche, preceded David in death.

A Private Family Service will be held.
