Winferd DeWayne Grigsby, 60, of Bartlesville, died Saturday at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday in the Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Jerry Epperson officiating. Interment will be in the Ramona Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
DeWayne Grigsby was born August 5, 1952 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Kenneth Wayne and Mona Marie (Gray) Grigsby. Mr. Grigsby was raised and received his education in Bartlesville area graduating from high school in Dewey. After graduation he entered the U.S. Army reserves. Mr. Grigsby was employed with REDA Pump Company for 30 years before retiring. He was a member of the Church of God Prophecy. DeWayne was a devoted son, father and grandfather; he loved to tinker and enjoyed attending car shows.
Survivors include his mother and step-father Mona Grigsby-Coy and Ralph, sister Patsy and husband Jerry Barber; three children daughter Mickey and Husband Jimmy Canavan, son Kenneth and wife Angela Standish, son Mark and wife Jamie Fox; 8 grandchildren and 6 nieces and nephews. Mr. Grigsby was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Wayne Grigsby. Friends who wish may sign the online guest book and leave condolences at www.stumpff.org
