Dorothy Ann Bennefield

Dorothy Ann Bennefield passed away on June 17, 2023, at the age of 86. She was born to Victor Seibold and Viola (Smith) Seibold on January 13, 1937, in Dewey, Oklahoma.

After graduating from high school, Dorothy worked for Phillips Petroleum in the map room from 1956 to 1966. She later worked at the Washington County Clerk's Office as a Clerk from 1992 to 2003. On March 18, 1961, Dorothy married Robert "Bob" William Bennefield. She loved to sew, and she made clothing and wedding dresses for family and friends. She also enjoyed cross-stitching and puzzles.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her father, Victor Seibold; mother, Viola Seibold; brothers, Ed and Bob; sisters, Ethel, Billie, and Mary; and daughter-in-law, Tina.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Bob Bennefield; sons, Alan Bennefield and Jim Bennefield and wife Christy; grandchildren, AJ and wife Betty, Christopher and wife Gracey, Kaitlyn, and Kason; great-grandchildren; Bristol and Kaiden; sister, Leona Edwards; and many nieces and nephews.

The graveside service will be held at Ramona Cemetery on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at 10:00 AM.
