Gwenda Louise Moody Wiles was born March 8, 1939, in the Conser Community in Heavner, Oklahoma to Dave and Neoma (McBride) Moody. She passed away on January 13, 2023, in her home at the age of 83.

Gwen was a long-time resident of Ocheleta and a member of the Ocheleta Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time in her kitchen cooking, tending to her flowerbeds, and traveling all over Oklahoma watching her grandkids play various sports and other activities.

She brought love, laughter, and joy to everyone lucky enough to cross her path. She was a role model, businesswoman, mentor, and an amazing friend that people looked up to and admired. She was truly beautiful inside and out. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Gwenda Wiles was preceded in death by her parents, her son Tommy Joe Wiles, her sister Addicay Mann, her brother Buck Moody, her nephew Archie Dave Deere, her sister-in-law Nellie Lile and her brothers-in-law Charles Lile and Archie Deere.

She is survived by her husband Don Wiles of the home, her daughter Donna Core and husband Dave of Ocheleta, OK, her sister Patsy Deere of Heavner, OK, her 3 granddaughters Charlotte Collins and husband Jason of Ocheleta, OK, Katey Core of Ocheleta, OK, and Gwenda Flanary of Bartlesville, her 8 great-grandchildren Taylor Askew and wife Maria, Morgan Welch, Levi Moody, Amelia VanCleave, Addison Collins, Hayden VanCleave, Hunter VanCleave, and Avery Ppool, her 2 great-great-granddaughters Hazel and Delilah Askew, numerous nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends who loved her very much.
