Interment will be in the Ochelata
Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction
of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.
Caron Lee Smith was born July 4, 1943 in Tulsa,
OK to Clyde Austin and Vera Lee (Dale) Fransisco.
Caron worked for many years as a Licensed
Practical Nurse retiring in 2002. She was a
member of Ochelata First Baptist Church where
she played the piano for over 25 years. She was
a gifted pianist serving her community at church
events, school events, weddings, funerals, and
teaching piano lessons for over 50 years. She
was an active member of the T.O.P.S. club in
Dewey. She loved reading and writing novels. For
the last several years she reported the Ochelata
news as a columnist for the Bartlesville
Examiner Enterprise.
Caron is survived by three daughters: Lisa
Toalson and husband Steve of Ochelata, Cheryl
Lambert and husband Douglas of St. Louis, MO,
Robbi Scott and husband Don of Ochelata. Two
sons: Dallas Smith and wife Erin of Ochelata,
Chris Smith and wife Erin of Claremore, two half
brothers, David and Jimmy Fransisco and two half
sisters, Robin Rogers and Jo Ellen Patterson.
Caron was blessed with twelve grandchildren, six
great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews
and friends, including her very dear and special
friend, Rosalyn Kaylor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert
Smith, her parents and brother, Mike Fransisco.
