Mrs. Wilma “Theda” Prather, 91, of Ochelata, died at 12:30 A.M. on Thursday, August 31, 2017.

Come and go visitation will be held at the Stumpff Funeral Home on Friday until 8 P.M. and on Saturday and Sunday from 9 A.M. until 8 P.M.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, September 5, 2017in the Bible Holiness Church in Ochelata with Pastor Jerry Schenck officiating. Interment will be in the Ochelata Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to the Ochelata Bible Holiness Church, 201 S. West Street, Ochelata, Oklahoma, 74051.

Mrs. Prather was born at Sand Springs, Oklahoma on February 27, 1926 the daughter of Carl and Blanche Leona (Stevenson) Caffey. She grew up and received her education in the Ramona area and she was married to Robert Lee Prather at Claremore, Oklahoma on June 13, 1944. Following Mr. Prather’s military service during World War II, they made their home at Ochelata where they were active for many years in farming and ranching.

Mr. Prather preceded her in death on November 6, 2004. Mrs. Prather continued her home at Ochelata where she was an active member of the Ochelata Bible Holliness Church.

Mrs. Prather is survived by her son, Matt Fugate and companion, Jana Middleton of Ochelata, nieces and nephews, Jerry and Glenna Prather of Prague, Okla., Zelda Prather of Earlsboro, Okla., Peggy Prather of Houston, Texas and Darrel and Barbara Mantooth of Tulsa. She was preceded in death by her parents and a number of brothers and sisters.
