Allen Key Parker
March 19, 1957 - August 2, 2025

Allen Key Parker, 68, of Bartlesville, died Saturday, August 2, in Bartlesville. Allen accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior on December 2, 1979, and was sanctified in October of 1983.

Allen was born the son of George Sanford and Lois Marie (Allen) Parker on March 19, 1957, in Peoria, Illinois. He attended and graduated from Independence Bible School in 1975. Allen worked with his father at Parker Plumbing and Parker Homes Construction. In 1987 his parents closed the business and followed God's calling to the mission field in Mesa, Arizona, and served on the Mesa and Lehi Indian Reservation.

Allen began his career at Phillips Petroleum Company first as a contractor and later worked as a mechanic, limo driver and mail truck driver. He was hired on as a full-time employee in 1990 and worked as an aviation lineman at the Bartlesville Airport with the corporate jet until his retirement in March of 2021. He went on to work part-time with Phoenix Rising Aviation from May 31, 2022 until present.

For all of his life, Allen made his home church at The Bible Holiness Church in Bartlesville. This is where he met Kathleen May Filsinger and they united in marriage on September 20, 1980. The couple made their home in Bartlesville and on November 25, 2003 their home was blessed with a beautiful baby boy and Alex was their world.

As a family they enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping, spending memorable weekends at Grand Lake or closer to home at Copan Lake. Allen enjoyed spending quality time with his son Alex, sometimes riding motorcycles or messing around in the jeep. Kathleen recalls their first date when Allen picked her up on his motorcycle. The diehards even left their wedding in signature style - riding off together on that motorcycle. Most of all Allen loved the Lord and his family rejoices in knowing that he is with the Lord.

Allen is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Kathleen, son Alex Parker and sister Janet (Gary) Jackson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents and Parents.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. and visitation will be from 11-8, Friday, August 8th at the Davis Family Funeral Home – Dewey Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Journey Home, 900 NE Washington Blvd., Bartlesville, OK 74006 or Independence Bible School, 4012 CR 3900, Independence, KS 67301.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 9th at the Ochelata Bible Holiness Church, with Pastor David Mayfield officiating. Interment will follow in the Ochelata Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home-Dewey Chapel. Online condolences and remembrances may be shared at www.DavisFamilyFuneralHome.com.
