Mr. Kenneth J. Hill, 84, of Bartlesville, died at 10:45 P.M. on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at his home in Bartlesville.

Funeral services for Mr. Hill will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the Bartlesville Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Rummage and Pastor Gregg Fort officiating.

Interment will be in the Ochelata Cemetery directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to the Boys & Girls Club of Bartlesville, 401 S. Seminole, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 74003.

Mr. Hill was born at Wilburton, Oklahoma on January 18, 1933 the son of Louie E. and Gladys Belle (Forrest) Hill. He grew up and received his education in Barnsdall and graduated from Barnsdall High School. He then began his employment with Phillips Petroleum Company until being drafted into the U.S. Army and serving 15 months in Korea. He was married to Joanne Edinger in Barnsdall, Oklahoma on February 3, 1954. Following his Honorable Discharge from the military, he returned to his employment with Phillips Petroleum Company until his retirement on June 19, 1992 after 41 years of service. Mr. and Mrs. Hill have made their home in Bartlesville their entire married life. Mr. Hill was a member of the Bartlesville Southern Baptist Church and had served as a church Deacon for over 50 years. He had served as a treasurer for the Boy Scouts of America and had been active as a Cub Scout Master. He was involved as a Little League baseball coach, was a basketball coach at the Boy’s Club and a coach for Upward basketball. He had also been active in bowling leagues at Phillips and traveled to bowling tournaments as well as helping his children learn to bowl. He was also active as a volunteer in pastoral care at the Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville.

Mr. Hill is survived by his wife, Joanne Hill of Bartlesville, three children, Kenneth D. Hill of Ruston, Louisiana, Kevin R. Hill and wife Susan of Penfield, New York and Kelli M. Bryant of Bartlesville, two sisters, Reba Goodell of Sand Springs, OK and Mary Lou Napier of Miami, OK, two brothers, L.D. Hill of College Station, Texas and Otha D. Hill of Cypress, Texas, four grandchildren, Amanda N. Hill, Miranda C. Hill, Austin T. Bryant and K. Alex Hill.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
