Mrs. Ruby Louise Yocham, 84, of Bartlesville, died at 4:54 P.M.
on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the Bartlesville Health & Rehab facility.
Funeral services for Mrs. Yocham will be held at 10 A.M. on Wednesday, November
22, 2017 at the Happy Hill Church near Ramona with John “Spud” Langley
officiating.
Interment will be Memorial Park Cemetery directed by the Stumpff
Funeral Home & Crematory.
Mrs. Yocham was born at Bristow, Oklahoma on December 8, 1932 the daughter of
Willard and Inez (Graham) Langley. She grew up and received her education In
Bristow and Kellyville and she graduated from Kellyville High School where she
wrote the prayer for her senior banquet. She was married to George Alva Yocham
at Bristow in 1949 and they made their home in Kellyville and later in Colorado
until moving to Bartlesville in 1964. In 1964 they opened the Tastee Freeze on
Nowata Road which they operated until opening Yocham’s Family Drive-In. In 1980
they opened Yocham’s Gab & Grab east of Bartlesville on Highway 60. Mrs. Yocham
had sang in the praise and worship team at the Vine Life Church and had recorded
a CD. She was a member of the Happy Hill Church. She loved to spend time with
her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Sheila Emberson and husband Mike of
Bartlesville, two sons, George Alan Yocham of Wann and Rick Yocham and wife
Rhonda of Bartlesville, five grandchildren, Jessica Buchanan, Matt Yocham, Rod
Emberson, Gene Emberson and Rikki Sydebotham and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, John Langley, a sister, Rita Carolus and her husband, George Yocham on April 29, 2010
